Left Behind by Bruce H, Scroggins
America has neglected, the people of color, and the poor, on purpose, it was by design, it is benign neglect, of the most vulnerable Americans, and that is our National Tragedy, and the whole world is watching America, and by their neglect, they have allowed, and fostered murders, of our very young, and the very old, and those already sick, and these are the very people who, have supported New Orleans, from generations to generation, with hard work, and today have nothing but the skin on the backs.
This is flat out racism against Blacks, and this is a crime against humanity, and is being played out in the 24 hour News Cycle, and the News Organizations and they ask WHY? Why? Are they stealing, and killing each other, and some in power, lets start with the Governors, are now saying… ZERO tolerance, to looters, and I have given orders to shoot to kill.
And the poor are asking, WHY? Why won’t you help us, you fly over us, and you see us waving, and dying, right in front of the camera, where are the troops? Where are the Police?
The Bush Administration is not alone in this Racist National Tragedy, this gose back at least five Adminastrations, all the way to Nixson. The Congress knew what those in Louisiana told them, for years will happen, and about the levees being in a dilapidated state, and that they needed 208 million dollars to finished the work, to shore up there deathly needed protection, and all for the most vulnerable people, and Bush’s budget, allotted 10 million dollars, and today, I’d say 30 to 50 Billion would be a low ball estimate for repairs, but until some one makes a real plan, would be throwing good money, behind, not enough money, to rebuild a City, waiting, for the next “Perfect Storm.”
No one will do a story on those who live on the High ground, and are isolated, but have limited resource, all the movers and shakers of Commerce, and Private Business, and Government, there homes are protected by the Local Police, who America, and the World didn’t see in the aftermath of “Katrina.,” you know what hurts the most, the powers that be, knew they were leaving the most vulnerable people behind, and they left them anyway, that is the height of arrogance, for any society, it is a sin, and “reproach to any nation.”
Left behind is mild in description of what we all have seen happen to Blacks, in the South, from New Orleans to Mississippi, to Alabama. New Orleans's a city that’s older than America, built on tourism, with all the service jobs gone, and all the homes of the workers gone, with literally “nothing to eat, or drink, and no where to sleep, the poor went crazy, they were in near, to full blow panic, and some would even attach those few who’ve come to help.
All over the world, there have been discussions about, what would happen if a storm hit New Orleans, and three days ago it happened, and all the plans of men and of racist Institutions, headed by the power elite, have shrunk from view, only surfacing to say how bad it is, and then go to the next extreme, and say, “shoot to kill,” there will be n tolerance.
But let me tell you America, Black America is pulling together, through, the help of Americans, and If you want to help, you can call any CHURCH or TEMPLE, or SYNGOGUE, Black or White, MUSLIM or CHRISTIAN, or call the NAACP, or the URBAN LEAGUE, or RAINBOWPUSH, or the REDCROSS, or the SALVATION ARMY, you can call the Big News organizations, like NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, or CSAN, PBS, MBS, or BET, You can give money, or food, or clothing, and for those who have the heart, you can open your home to those who most desperately need shelter, but do this with a wise and understanding heart, and seek guidance, before, making your home available.
And first before doing anything, if you believe, pray and meditate, we need all the guidance we can get, because this is going be, for a lot of Americans, a long and dark journey into the Light of the real America, we all talk about, and have for much of our lives believed was for all Americans, a "Christian Country,"… well were going to get our chance to show the world, it wasn’t all talk, but remember, the world saw America clearly LEAVE BEHIND AMERICANS, so lets get to work.

HIGH and DRY by Bruce H, Scroggins
HIGH and DRY
9/1/05
The Disaster, in Louisiana is America unprepared for what ALL America, and the State Government knew years ago would happen, “The Perfect Storm.” Pray, and do all you can for those suffering, open your homes, carefully, but open your hearts wide, and give of your time, where you can.
I have some questions, where are, our first responders, and where are the State Police, and the Local Police, where are the Red Cross located, where is the Coast Guard, and the Air National Guard. The Media should be making there Stations, a heaven for support, there Top Priority should be, to tell all who can hear, where to go gather for the coming work, but remember, those who need the help can’t hear CNN, CMBC, CBS, ABC, or FOX, these Media outlets are running none stop, with there 24 hour News Cycles, replaying the tapes of the devastation, and the looting, and the dead, and sick and dying, and the Old, and near death, and the filthy water.
The children are suffering, and the majority are children of color, and this a painful sight. New Orleans was a man made City, waiting for a disaster, the Local police who served and protected, and enforced the law, is where today, they stand guard alone. Along the lines that separates the poor, and the forgotten, in the devastated City, and there not showing all the high ground where the well off, are isolated, but HIGH and DRY, and those who planned to live on ground set up and filled in to be much, higher than the City, they knew one day that it all would be GONE, and the City today is GONE, completely GONE, these wealthy people who helped plan the City, and had positions of power, I’ am talking about decision making, effectual positions of power, they have planned for this end of Civilizations from day one, there homes have power, and they have water, and they have telecommunications, be it limited in scope.
I want you to know that 80% of the City is gone, so show the full extent of the 20% that’s left; I want America to see what’s left and who has what’s left.
Bush flew over and made a few speeches, but he was ineffectual in his Bully Pall Pit, Iraq has more devastation then the three States combined, and the Military is rebuilding what they destroyed in Iraq, like HOSPITALS, WATER TREATMENT PLANTS, and WASTES TREATMENT PLANTS, and all the OIL infrastructures, and the TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS… by the way, according to the Geneva Convention, no Countries Military signer is suppose to destroy, these facilities, but no one said a word about the destruction, not a word, but I digress.
America has suffered a blow of historic proportions, and the POOR, and PEOPLE of COLOR are bearing the full force, and will be scared for life from this, many, many more will die, and they will never, see America the same again, they will have a this FIXED in there minds of America, as they search in vain for family, and the life they once had.
Even the Churches have been destroyed, but the 20% will continue on and recover, and can leave, and the local Police will protect their property, while there gone, as they have all along.
I get the impression, so clear, of the powers that be, there lack of coordination, that they themselves said they planned for three years ago, and tested just last year, the reality to me is, they want as many destroyed as possible, while they slowly, turn out the help, and that help, has been so slow in coming, it can only be, on purpose, we see people right here in America dying, right in front of our eyes, and people are giving money, and asking where do you need them to go, and no one is going to there aid, not even the Army, could it be we have no Army. And with each nightfall, thousands dread the dark, they are in stark terror, what will become of them, with each Sun rise’s light… less and less of there humanity is left, and some will fall, some fast, and some slowly, slowly into anarchy, not against America, but against reality of the America, they live and are dying in, what is to become of our brothers and sisters, and the elderly, and the sick, and all the babies.
I ask all who read this to pray the Lords Prayer, and make up in your hearts; to do what you can to help.
Now this is the time for the powers that be, to call for a Nation to pray and pull together to make recovery from absolute destruction…to make a start, and to those who make the hard decisions the City, as to where to rebuild the Lives of those who lost EVERYTHING, and rebuilding, in the City is not and option…UNLESS they build the whole City…like the 20% who are sitting on the Hill…HIGH and DRY.

Immigration Today
Immigrations 7 26 2005
Immigration at a time of War is a matter, that can only be handled by first, securing the borders, and second, exerting our control, over the system by making it known, that all, who entered illegally into America, must come forward in 1 year, and at the end of that year, all who are found to of entered illegally, will be deported, and there children can stay, if born here, with family, or in institutions supported by the country of origin, and then, there status, will be worked out.
Your guest is right, we don't have the capacity to find everyone in our country illegally, but we do have the capacity, to weed out illegals over a short space of time, with deadlines, and strict border control going forward.
We must also penalize, all businesses who have employed illegals, and they should be, first given a time span to clean-up there employee base, and they can do it, very well, they can require documentation from those they employ, and check out that status.
And if you have a family, and you’re here illegally, or legally, and you break a serious enough law, and it requires you, to go to jail, whether your married with children, or not, your family would suffer when you went to jail, and you would be just as gone, and you would be just as American, or just as illegal.
Many will say the children will be displaced, and your right, but if a parent, a cousin, and businesses support them being here illegally, these are most often times can be AMERICANS who allow them to mix in and support them staying here illegally, they say, it's my cousins, it's the children, there working and paying taxes, and there not breaking the Law, these are all answer to, a illegal act.
And Americans of the same nationality, support them with their organizations, against their country of origin (If born American), and the naturalized citizens, and those who have adopted America and have come legally to become citizens. Many of those who have come legally tacitly turn there eyes from the illegality of there family members act, of coming to visit, and staying illegally, coming in legally, and staying with American family members, until they can get a job, and a home, and then stay illegally, and often supporting non-profits, set up to lobby fellow Americans to let them stay. I' am not against good people of what ever color, or country, I' am against, at a time of War, (and war makes a difference, here,) and people of several different colors, and countries who hate America, and come in and hide amongst Americans, and plan and plot us/Americans, murder.
All borders must be secured, all ports must be secured, and against all who would perpetrate any and all illegal acts against America. The nice illegal people, and the hateful illegal people, and all in-between.
I look at this immigration problem like it was my yard, my country, If some one came over to my border fence, and climbed over into my yard, and was industrious, hard working, and peaceable, they would still be set up in the corner of my property illegally, and they would still be breaking the Law, and if I entered there country illegally, I would be breaking the there law.
So the borders must be controlled, and talking about, amnesty and any talk of letting them stay, when you don't know, who out maybe 14 million illegals aliens, is here to plot and plan murder, is unconscionable, and sends the wrong message to those who want to come illegally, and it sends the wrong message to Americans who support there family and country men and women, coming and staying amongst Americans, mixing in to hide.
You can be a good person, and hide, you can be a good person, and work hard everyday, and pay your taxes, you can be a good person, and make a bad decision, you can be a good American, even a family member, and support illegals, to stay here illegally, to do something illegal.
First it's War, second, it's illegal, and we are nothing else, if not a nation of LAWS.

Empty Apology and Hollow Rhetoric
by DNC
Washington, DC -- Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman today apologized for the "Southern Strategy," his party's despicable decision to ignore and demonize minorities for electoral gain in the 1960s and 1970s. Mehlman's empty apology for 30 year old political tactics lacks credibility in the face of President Bush's failed policies.
"The truth is the 'Southern strategy' lives today," said DNC Chair Howard Dean. "If Ken Mehlman feels like apologizing, he should start by apologizing for his party's use of divisive tactics in 2000, for using code words like 'quota' to divide African Americans, for demonizing gay people in 2004, and for the divisive use of immigration issues in 2006.
"If the Republican Party is really ready to change its stripes, they would denounce Mehlman's pledge to employ voter suppression tactics in this year's elections and join Democrats in rallying the nation around our common values and ideals.
"Mehlman's words ring hollow and lack credibility if he and President Bush aren't wil
ling to enact policies that truly expand opportunities and equality for all Americans, rather than policies that leave African Americans behind by driving up unemployment among African Americans and driving down home ownership rates. Under President Bush we've seen cuts to small business loans that are critical to expanding opportunity and cuts in funds for HIV/AIDS, an epidemic that is viciously claiming the lives of too many African Americans. Until President Bush and his Administration get serious about truly addressing these issues, not merely paying lip service to them, any apology rings hollow."
See below for a new document from DNC Research:
President Bush's Failed Leadership Leaves African Americans Behind
President Bush's record in the African American community is distinguished by a lot of rhetoric backed up with little action. While he talks of being a compassionate conservative, his consistent opposition to causes important to African Americans has severely damaged his credibility. Under the Bush Administration, African American unemployment has increased and funding for job training has decreased. His own No Child Left Behind Act has been severely underfunded and many African American seniors will be exposed to higher drug costs under his Medicare plan. Bush has consistently eliminated programs that help African Americans. It is morally irresponsible to slash funding for key education, health care, and job creation programs. Democrats believe that it is our responsibility to work with African Americans to ensure that the policies we pursue are consistent with the values we cherish and the promises made.
President Bush Does Little to Reach Out to African American Leaders
Bush African American Support Lacking Despite Claims of Outreach. The Republicans consistently claim they are reaching out to African Americans, yet Bush only received 11 percent of the African American vote in 2004 and 9 percent in 2000. [Sun-Sentinel, 10/24/04; CNN.com]
Bush Turns Down NAACP Convention Invitation for 5th Year. As the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People convenes its annual meeting, President Bush, for the fifth year in a row, has declined an invitation to speak at the convention. [Baltimore Sun, 7/9/05]
Bush Did Not Attend the 2004 NAACP Convention, Nor Any Other Convention During His Presidency. The White House initially attributed Bush's decision not to accept the invitation to speak at the NAACP annual convention to a scheduling conflict. It's the fourth straight year that Bush has declined an invitation to attend the NAACP convention, which opens today in Philadelphia and runs through Thursday. He is the first sitting president since Herbert Hoover not to address the group. [Reuters, 7/9/04; Knight-Ridder, 7/10/04]
* Bush Later Admitted that He Would Not Attend Because NAACP Leaders Called Him Names. "'I would describe my relationship with the current leadership as basically non-existent,' Bush told reporters. 'You've heard the rhetoric and the names they've called me.' Bush added that he 'admired some' NAACP leaders and said he would seek members' support 'in other ways.'" [Knight-Ridder, 7/10/04]
Bush Has Purposely Ignored the Congressional Black Caucus. "Bush did meet with the Congressional Black Caucus during his first two weeks in office -- on Jan. 31, 2001 -- but... Bush has repeatedly turned down requests to meet with the group since then. Caucus members have complained that not only has Bush refused to meet with them on specific issues, including his plans to attack Iraq, but also the White House often has not even responded to their letters." [Washington Post, 10/14/04]
Bush Refused To Commit To CBC Agenda. Shortly after Bush's second inauguration, Bush again met with the group, but would not commit to anything on their agenda. Bush simply agreed "to consider proposals to end racial disparities." Rep. Mel Watt (D-NC), chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, said that Bush seemed surprised by the drastic disparities that existed, replying to their statements with "visible grunts." Rep. Watt said, "It was like every time a new piece of information was hitting the president, he was being hit in the stomach." [CNN, 1/27/05; Dallas Morning News, 1/27/05]
Bush Opposes Affirmative Action Programs Used by African Americans
Bush Opposed Affirmative Action on the Same Day As MLK's Birthday. On January 15, 2003, Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, the Bush Administration announced it would be submitting two friend-of-the-court briefs opposing affirmative action at the University of Michigan, wrongly asserting that the University's policies "amount to a quota system." Bush "called affirmative action 'fundamentally flawed,' as the U.S. Supreme Court in 2003 examined whether considering race as a factor in admissions to the University of Michigan was constitutional." [Detroit Free Press, 8/30/04; New York Times, 1/16/03]
Bush Deliberately and Wrongly Identified University of Michigan Admission System as a "Quota." During his announcement that his Administration would oppose the University of Michigan in its affirmative action cases before the Supreme Court, Bush stated that Michigan's admissions policies "amount to a quota system that unfairly rewards or penalizes prospective students based solely on their race." According to the New York Times, Bush's use of the racially- charged word "quota" was strategic because of the strong negative reaction the word elicits in polls. The Supreme Court rejected Bush's position, ruling that the Constitution "does not prohibit the law school's narrowly tailored use of race in admissions decisions to further a compelling interest in obtaining the educational benefits that flow from a diverse student body." [New York Times, 1/16/03; 6/23/03; United States Supreme Court]
Under Bush Administration, Unemployment in the African American Community is at its Highest Levels in Years
Bush's Policies Result in High Unemployment Rate in African Americans. The unemployment rate among African Americans remained over 10.5 percent in 2005 - remaining at levels not seen since 1997. The Bush budget squanders an additional $1.6 trillion over the next 10 years on more tax cuts for the wealthy, but does little to create good-paying jobs here at home. And these tax cuts will squeeze out a range of programs to help create new opportunities, support strong national security, and restore prosperity. [Democratic Policy Committee report, 3/05]
Bush Budget Cuts Funding for Small Businesses. There are more than 820,000 African American owned small businesses. The budget cuts funding for the Small Business Administration, which helps minority-owned small businesses grow, by $85 million from last year's proposal. The budget also provides no resources for the Microloan program, even though this program is critical to aiding minority communities by supplying small loans to start up newly established and growing small businesses. [Democratic Policy Committee report, 3/05]
Bush Denies Job Training Opportunities. Some African American workers lack the academic preparation and skills training needed for economic success. Yet the Bush Administration shortchanges the job training needed to create new opportunities. The budget cuts job training services by about $280 million and block-grants the adult, youth, and dislocated worker programs and the Employment Service program, jeopardizing critical training resources and particularly harming dislocated workers and at-risk teenagers. The budget cuts other job training and related programs, including trade adjustment assistance, veterans' training, vocational rehabilitation, and adult education by about $300 million. [Democratic Policy Committee report, 3/05]
Bush Continues to Underfund Critical Education Programs that Help African Americans
Bush Underfunds his Own No Child Left Behind Program by $13.1 Billion. Bush's budget provides $13.1 billion less in funding for No Child Left Behind than the 2002 law authorized, leaving 3 million children without the help with reading and math that they were promised under Title I, and cuts Education Department funding below this year's level. More than 15 percent of African Americans over the age of 25 do not have a high school education. This is the fourth year in a row that Bush has underfunded his own program. [National Priorities Project, 2/14/05]
* Bush Budget Offers Title I Schools $7.2 Billion Less Than Promised, Leaves 2.4 Million Low-Income Children Behind. Bush's FY 2005 budget proposes $20.5 billion for Title I, $7.2 billion less than was authorized under the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act. Bush's last four budgets have cumulatively provided $22.4 billion less than what was pledged under NLCB. The President's budget would allow Title I to serve 2.4 million fewer low-income students than the amount authorized under NCLB. [President's FY 2005 Budget, www.ed.gov; historical data at www.ed.gov; House Budget Committee Democratic Caucus, 2/6/04]
Bush Budget Guts Head Start. There are 324,700 African American children being served through Head Start, but the President's budget eliminates the comprehensive educational, health, and nutrition services that children in this program currently receive. In addition, the budget freezes Head Start funding at this year's level, meaning that 25,000 children will have to be cut from the program next year. [Democratic Policy Committee report, 3/05]
Despite Bush's State of the Union Promise, His Budget Underfunds Pell Grants by $6.6 Billion. In his 2005 State of the Union Address Bush promised to increase the maximum value of Pell Grants, but he continues to fall well short of his 2000 promise to increase the value to $5,100. And Bush continues to provide $6.6 billion less than is authorized under the Higher Education Act. Only 17 percent of African American adults have their bachelor's degree, and yet the budget completely eliminates the $306 million GEAR-UP, $313 million Upward Bound, and $150 million Talent Search programs, which ensure that high-risk students succeed in high school and move on to college. As a result, about 1.3 million students - 70 percent of whom are minorities - will lose support they need to make it to college. [Bush, State of the Union Address, 2/2/05; Bush Speech in Hampton, New Hampshire, 8/30/00; Federal Pell Grant End of Year Report 2003-2004; National Education Association, 2/05; Office of Management and Budget, Budget of the United States Government, Fiscal Year 2006, 2/7/05]
Bush Administration's Social Security Plan Negatively Affects
African Americans
African Americans Rely Disproportionately On Social Security For Their Retirement. "Without Social Security, 60 percent of African American seniors would live in poverty." African Americans are less likely to have additional retirement income beyond Social Security and 40 percent of African Americans rely solely on Social Security as their only source of retirement income. [Democratic Policy Committee report, 3/05; Dollars and Sense, November/December 2004]
African Americans Would Be Hurt By Raise In Retirement Age. Bush's argument that "African American males die sooner than other males do, which means the system is inherently unfair to a certain group of people. And that needs to be fixed" is inaccurate. "By age 65, when Social Security's full retirement benefits start to be paid, the difference between life expectancy for the average African American and white male is less than two years." The statistic Bush is citing is skewed by high death rates of African Americans children and youth adults. Thus, African Americans would be harmed by Bush putting a raise in the retirement age on the table. [Democratic Policy Committee report, 3/05; Bush Conversation on Social Security, 2/3/05]
Bush's Plan Would Cut Benefits For Seniors. The Washington Post reported, "a former senior administration official who recently discussed Social Security strategy with Bush aides said the change in the indexing formula 'is assumed to be a part of any final solution.'" According to the Social Security Administration's own chief actuary, steep benefit cuts would occur under a plan to change the formula by which Social Security benefits are calculated. By setting first year benefits according to rises in inflation, as opposed to wage growth, benefits would be reduced dramatically, as wages generally rise more rapidly than prices. If you retire in 2022, the Bush recalculation will cut your benefits by almost 10 percent. If you retire in 2042, the Bush benefit cut will total more than 25 percent. By 2075, our children and grandchildren will be facing staggering cuts of 46 percent to their benefits. [Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, 12/21/04; Washington Post, 1/4/05]
Bush's Plan Makes It Harder For Survivors To Receive Benefits. Bush has claimed his plan will allow seniors to pass on Social Security, saying "...when you pass on, you can pass that money on to whomever you want." However, his plan actually makes it more difficult to do this. "The Bush privatization plan would require retirees whose traditional Social Security benefits are below the poverty line to purchase annuities 'to ensure a stream of monthly income over the worker's life expectancy.' Unless individuals' account balances are in excess of the 'poverty- protection threshold,' retirees may not withdraw their money. Only unused money from the seniors' funds, if there is any, can be passed on to heirs." [Democratic Policy Committee report, 3/05; Bush Speech, 3/4/05]
Bush Administration Fails to Make Healthcare Affordable for
African Americans
Bush Administration Budget Fails to Make Health Care Affordable. There are 7.4 million African Americans without health insurance and millions more who can barely afford to pay their premiums. However, the budget does not improve access to health care. Instead, it cuts $60 billion from Medicaid, decimating health care funding for children, the elderly, and people with disabilities and making it even harder for families to afford nursing home care. These cuts will shift costs to states and beneficiaries, cut payments for providers, which will undermine their ability to provide care, and increase the number of the uninsured. While the Bush budget claims to reinvest $15 billion of the $60 billion in cuts back into Medicaid, the bulk of that spending is from an "outreach initiative" which is unlikely to ever produce any new coverage, as many states have moved to make it more difficult for families to enroll. [Democratic Policy Committee report, 3/05; Kaiser Family Foundation Issue Brief, http://www.kff.org/minorityhealth/7293.cfm , 7/8/05]]
Bush Cuts Office of Minority Health. African American men suffer from heart disease at nearly twice the rate of whites and those under 65 suffer from prostate cancer at nearly twice the rate of whites. And yet, the President's budget makes a six percent cut in the Office of Minority Health, which supports disease prevention, health promotion, and educational efforts that focus on health concerns that cause the high rate of disease in racial and ethnic minority communities. [Democratic Policy Committee report, 3/05; HHS, FY 2002-2006 Budget in Brief]
Bush Budget Underfunded Programs that Help Combat AIDS In the African American Community. In his State of the Union address, Bush outlined an agenda aimed at U.S. inner cities, including a pledge to fight the growing HIV/AIDS epidemic in the African-American community. Bush also asked Congress to reauthorize the Ryan White CARE Act "to encourage prevention and provide care and treatment" to people living with the disease. "And as we update this important law, we must focus our efforts on fellow citizens with the highest rates of new cases: African-American men and women," Bush said. However, Bush's FY 2006 budget proposal includes cuts for some domestic HIV/AIDS programs, including a $14 million decrease for the Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS Program and a $4 million reduction for CDC's Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention. [Kaiser Daily HIV/AIDS Report, 2/3/05; San Francisco Chronicle, 2/8/005]
* The HIV/AIDS Epidemic is a Health Crisis for African Americans. In 2001, HIV/AIDS was among the top 3 causes of death for African American men aged 25-54 and among the top 4 causes of death for African American women aged 20-54. It was the number one cause of death for African American women aged 25-34. [CDC Report on AIDS and African Americans, http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/pubs/facts/afam.pdf , 7/8/05]
You ask Mr. Cooper, a series of questions and he answered you as best he could, he let you know that what was in his notes, and e-mails, he spoke to the investigators about those facts. That’s as it may, and it’s now fact, that Cheney, Rove, Libby, and Ari fliecher, and there Lawyers all know what has been revealed, and these men know more, that will be discovered by Fitzgerald in the coming weeks.
The Administration say also, that they won’t trust TIME, to protect them, that sounds like they got caught doing, and saying something very wrong, and they want to punish TIME and there reporters. The Administration Lawyers also told Mr. Cooper, he had a wavier to speak all along, but as Cooper said he kept his mouth shut for two years, and that sound correct, so if Copper had this wavier as they said, why? I ask, did they have to work anything out, between Lawyers a paper, saying Cooper NOW has a wavier, and this all-occurring TWO YEARS later.
Ken Melman (KM) is an Obfuscating, he's just parsing words, and he flat out did not answer your direct question, (at least the end of your question), "is that not a leak." Cooper said, he heard it from Rove, KM ignored that direct quote, and at the end of his SPIN, he threw in Joe Wilson name again.
John Podesta, got it right, it’s what Rove said, not what Joe Wilson said. Ken Melman says, the E-Mails exonerates Rove, they do not, and he’s lying to you, and to the American people, right in your face. And we do not ALL agree, Ken should never say that as fact, when it clear that the evidence to date, all implicate, Rove deeply in this leak.
There is and has been an ongoing cover-up, and Scott McClellan was central in this cover-up. Question, if this happened in the Clinton White house, (i mean, did not answer your questions,) Podesta said what is true facts, this is a blatant lie by Rove, and Bush stated, any one leaking, “He would deal with this person.”
I believe America is on the wrong track Domestically, and in Foreign Policy, and Rove will not survive, and he will be brought up on charges.
Ken Melman, is hurting his party, and everyone who keeps standing in the breach, for treasonous act, and America’s eyes are wide open, and if they don’t stop twisting the facts, and continuing to spin lying mis-directions, it will be a hard landing, one that will lead to Impeachment.
Woodward & Bernstein, got it right, it’s the CONTEXTS, of WMD’s, ROVE, Lying to take America into IRAQ, and more, much more. Finally Bushes house of cards is unraveling, and the Downing Street Memo’s and more will, crush Bush, and Bush if foolish enough to push John Bolton down the troths of America, and the world. America needs a shoe to drop, and Bush will use the one he has in his mouth.

Is Bush destroying the Economy
Is Bush destroying the economy?
Paul Krugman on deflation
Something about Paul Krugman's writings terrifies the staid New York Times. They're supposed to be "the" liberal newspaper of record, but with only a handful of liberal columnists left, they keep digging a deeper hole to bury them in. Maybe it's just for this one weekend, but Paul Krugman's column, which had been moved from Sundays and Wednesdays to Tuesdays and Fridays, has been further de-relegated to the black hole of newspaper publishing: the Saturday edition.
A cynic would say that they just don't want Krugman's message getting out. Well, to hell with fair use, if you don't want to register at the New York Times to read the whole thing, here's a sizeable chunk of what the Times and the Bush administration don't want you to know about:
The particular type of quagmire to worry about has a name: liquidity trap. As the I.M.F. report explains, the most important reason to fear deflation is that it can push an economy into a liquidity trap, or deepen the distress of an economy already caught in the trap.
Here's how it works, in theory. Ordinarily, deflation — a general fall in the level of prices — is easy to fight. All the central bank (in our case, the Federal Reserve) has to do is print more money, and put it in the hands of banks. With more cash in hand, banks make more loans, interest rates fall, the economy perks up and the price level stops falling.
But what if the economy is in such a deep malaise that pushing interest rates all the way to zero isn't enough to get the economy back to full employment? Then you're in a liquidity trap: additional cash pumped into the economy — added liquidity — sits idle, because there's no point in lending money out if you don't receive any reward. And monetary policy loses its effectiveness.
Once an economy is caught in such a trap, it's likely to slide into deflation — and nasty things (what the I.M.F. report calls "adverse dynamics") begin to happen. Falling prices induce people to postpone their purchases in the expectation that prices will fall further, depressing demand today.
Also, deflation usually means falling incomes as well as falling prices. In a deflationary economy, a family that borrows money to buy a house may well find itself having to pay fixed mortgage payments out of a shrinking paycheck; a business that borrows to finance investment may well find itself having to pay a fixed interest bill out of a shrinking cash flow.
In other words, deflation discourages borrowing and spending, the very things a depressed economy needs to get going. And when an economy is in a liquidity trap, the authorities can't offset the depressing effects of deflation by cutting interest rates. So a vicious circle develops. Deflation leads to rising unemployment and falling capacity utilization, which puts more downward pressure on prices and wages, which accelerates deflation, which makes the economy even more depressed. The prospect of such a "deflationary spiral," rather than the mere prospect of deflation, is what scares the I.M.F. — and it should....
Our own situation is strikingly similar in some ways to that of Japan a decade ago. Like Japan circa 1993 or 1994, the United States is now facing the aftermath of a huge stock market bubble — the Nikkei and the Standard and Poors 500 both tripled in the five years before their respective peaks.
Also like Japan, we face a problem not of sharp downturn but of persistent underperformance — an economy that grows, but too slowly to prevent rising unemployment and falling capacity utilization.
What's different is that we have Japan as a cautionary example....
Once the U.S. economy began to falter, it cut rates early and often, trying to get ahead of the problem. Those cuts certainly helped moderate the slump; but at this point, with the overnight interest rate down to 1.25 percent, the Fed has almost run out of room to cut. (Fed officials believe, for technical reasons, that going below 0.75 would be counterproductive.) And the economy remains weak.
The Bush administration is, of course, notably unconcerned about deficits. Aren't the tax cuts in the pipeline exactly what the economy needs? Alas, no. Despite their huge size — if you ignore the gimmicks, the latest round will cost at least $800 billion over the next decade — they pump relatively little money into the economy now, when it needs it. Moreover, the tax cuts flow mainly to the very, very affluent — the people least likely to spend their windfall.
Meanwhile, state and local governments, which are not allowed to run deficits — we have our own version of the stability pact — are slashing spending and raising taxes. And both the spending cuts and the tax increases will fall mainly on the most vulnerable, people who cannot make up the difference by drawing on existing savings. The result is that the economic downdraft from state cutbacks (only slightly alleviated by the paltry aid contained in the new tax bill) will almost certainly be stronger than any boost from federal tax cuts....
Of course, it's possible, maybe even likely, that their nonchalance will be vindicated. Most analysts don't think we'll find ourselves caught in a liquidity trap. And even the Fed believes — or is that hopes? — that a surge in business investment will save the day.
But few analysts saw the Japanese quagmire coming either, and there is now a significant risk that we will find ourselves similarly trapped. Even so, we won't have deflation right away. But by the time we do, it will be very hard to reverse.
Like the Fed, I hope that doesn't happen. But hope is not a plan.
Today's Twin Cities Babelogue's Quote of the day is especially appropriate to this discussion:
"Corrupted by wealth & power, your government is like a restaurant with only one dish. They've got a set of Republican waiters on one side & a set of Democratic waiters on the other side. But no matter which set of waiters brings you the dish, the legislative grub is all prepared in the same Wall Street kitchen."
— Huey Long
Extra credit: reconcile all of the above with the Bush administration's push for a tax cut.
NOTE: I've just learned that Krugman's keeping his regular Tuesday-Friday rotation. Because of the length of this particular column, they held it until Saturday and ran it in its entirety.

Losing Our Country
By PAUL KRUGMAN
Baby boomers like me grew up in a relatively equal society. In the 1960's America was a place in which very few people were extremely wealthy, many blue-collar workers earned wages that placed them comfortably in the middle class, and working families could expect steadily rising living standards and a reasonable degree of economic security.
But as The Times's series on class in America reminds us, that was another country. The middle-class society I grew up in no longer exists.
Working families have seen little if any progress over the past 30 years. Adjusted for inflation, the income of the median family doubled between 1947 and 1973. But it rose only 22 percent from 1973 to 2003, and much of that gain was the result of wives' entering the paid labor force or working longer hours, not rising wages.
Meanwhile, economic security is a thing of the past: year-to-year fluctuations in the incomes of working families are far larger than they were a generation ago. All it takes is a bit of bad luck in employment or health to plunge a family that seems solidly middle-class into poverty.
But the wealthy have done very well indeed. Since 1973 the average income of the top 1 percent of Americans has doubled, and the income of the top 0.1 percent has tripled.
Why is this happening? I'll have more to say on that another day, but for now let me just point out that middle-class America didn't emerge by accident. It was created by what has been called the Great Compression of incomes that took place during World War II, and sustained for a generation by social norms that favored equality, strong labor unions and progressive taxation. Since the 1970's, all of those sustaining forces have lost their power.
Since 1980 in particular, U.S. government policies have consistently favored the wealthy at the expense of working families - and under the current administration, that favoritism has become extreme and relentless. From tax cuts that favor the rich to bankruptcy "reform" that punishes the unlucky, almost every domestic policy seems intended to accelerate our march back to the robber baron era.
It's not a pretty picture - which is why right-wing partisans try so hard to discredit anyone who tries to explain to the public what's going on.
These partisans rely in part on obfuscation: shaping, slicing and selectively presenting data in an attempt to mislead. For example, it's a plain fact that the Bush tax cuts heavily favor the rich, especially those who derive most of their income from inherited wealth. Yet this year's Economic Report of the President, in a bravura demonstration of how to lie with statistics, claimed that the cuts "increased the overall progressivity of the federal tax system."
The partisans also rely in part on scare tactics, insisting that any attempt to limit inequality would undermine economic incentives and reduce all of us to shared misery. That claim ignores the fact of U.S. economic success after World War II. It also ignores the lesson we should have learned from recent corporate scandals: sometimes the prospect of great wealth for those who succeed provides an incentive not for high performance, but for fraud.
Above all, the partisans engage in name-calling. To suggest that sustaining programs like Social Security, which protects working Americans from economic risk, should have priority over tax cuts for the rich is to practice "class warfare." To show concern over the growing inequality is to engage in the "politics of envy."
But the real reasons to worry about the explosion of inequality since the 1970's have nothing to do with envy. The fact is that working families aren't sharing in the economy's growth, and face growing economic insecurity. And there's good reason to believe that a society in which most people can reasonably be considered middle class is a better society - and more likely to be a functioning democracy - than one in which there are great extremes of wealth and poverty.
Reversing the rise in inequality and economic insecurity won't be easy: the middle-class society we have lost emerged only after the country was shaken by depression and war. But we can make a start by calling attention to the politicians who systematically make things worse in catering to their contributors. Never mind that straw man, the politics of envy. Let's try to do something about the politics of greed.

Janice R Brown, wrong for the Court
Janice R, Brown…wrong for the Appeals Bench
By Bruce H, Scrooggins
6/7/05
In responce to: Mr, Sessions, you say she mainstream in her dissents, and in her majority decisions, and she comes to the only decisions possible, and you say she's an African American, and she's for Affirmative Action, and Civil Rights, and that she's against discrimination.
Lets look at her positions, one at a time: her position as a citizen, are outside the mainstream in all of these situations, she’s shown she believes this, and she will, when given sufficient power, she will act on her belief’s, and this is a chance, many in America do not want to take, and many in the Black community do not want at all.
Janice R, Brown has no fair and equitable answer for past discrimination, Generations of Institutional Racist Discrimination, and the answers she, and America has come up with was, she would strike down, many civil rights laws, just to as you call it, “to be fair,” and you say as it is now, right now America is discriminating against one group, and you leave it, Left unsaid as to who this group is, (White Men) as the Black groups were discriminated against for all of those Centuries, is what is being left unsaid. Mr. Sessions, you and other who complain about Affirmative Action, offer more of the same discrimination, you say, America has advanced a long ways, since Affirmative Action was first implemented, and it’s time to return to equally weighting people in America, question how can America return to something America was never, in the begining.
Since California has implemented Pro 409, I believe it is… Minorities enrollments in the California College, and University systems, have dropped, as well as the changes in Michigan, and all because the past system has been replaced with this new system, and advancement was what was needed, not falling back, and you have no answer for how to keep the level of advancement moving up, before this change, but all Black America knew this was going to happen, and Janice R, Brown knew this was going to happen, but even she had no idea how not, to lose the position of advancement of Black people, her only answer was, it’s a level playing field, look at what I did, even though she made it, on her decsion on an unbalanced playing field, she knows the field is not even close to being a level field today.
J R, Brown knows many minorities still need Affirmative Action, too keep those who are, still today in positions of effectual power, from abusing the less fortunate, and most nulnerable citiszen of our nation, these people, won’t hire, or loan finances to a majority of minorities, who continue to be past over, even though they are qualified minorities, they are red-lined heavily, over policed, targeted by gangs, and drug dealers, under Educated, and constantly advised to drop out of school at early ages.
J R, Brown knows these systemic built in problems, of Institutional Racisim, and the variety of stumbling stones in the Black community of America, she believes today that Black America will be treated fair, in all endeavors, I believe she's nieve.
Yes Blacks can, and have made great strides, and there’s an argument for not being treated as a victim… now know this, there is a big difference in just saying you’re a victim, and being victimized, and that is the truth of the black community as a whole, many are victimized by there circumstances, simply put, the life they live and the place they find them selves is out of there control, and full of stumbling blocks, that are institutional, and physcological. Many drop out of the struggle, before they get the training, or drop out due to poor motivation, from family, community, and a lack of resources, what with service cuts, and with service increases in cost, we have today many working poor, who are not home, due to long work hours, tied to low pay, and a loss of buying power, and continued benefit increases each year, their just not home, and many times there unable to support their children, and motivate them closely and daily.
Black and Brown America, are most likely to be arrested, killed, and not get and education, or a job in America, and when these Americans due get a job, the majority are underemployed, and the first fired, which translates into two jobs, and neither jobs pay a working, living wage, what with all the cost of living going up and wages staying the same, staggnated, lock into a dead end job.
J R, Brown knows these systemic problems, that are out of minorities control, and minorities, they look to our elected officials, to put in place help for the systemic problems of the past that have had a built in effect on the minority future, and a reverse effect on the majority that have for tens of hundreds of year used this system to advance, to build, and keep, and past wealth on for generations, and it's not just wealth, it's also control, they pass on to successive generations, and the advantages are immense, over these hundreds of years, they have built in institutional control, and numerous legacies of advantages in international Finance, and Education. Now Affirmative Action cannot do anything about a 350 year HEAD start on owning people and land, and building institutions.
Janice R, Brown compromised to get where she is today, and it’s a practice use by all in life, but is it the only way to advance, or get what you desire, and more importantly, is it the way for minorities here in this 21st Century America. I say "no," to all, but will Americans who are in positions of EFFECTUAL POWER, agree to do the right thing? well the answer to my question is, and has been, and will continue to be “NO,” so minorities will continue to negotiate with the power elite for there humanity, and that is the shame of all America, we will, demand a fair playing field, and receive and offer to compromise on some small improvements in the living necessities, Educations, Jobs, And Finance.
What we deserve is a piece of the American pie, why? Because we Blacks were used to build the foundation, of the greatest Nation on earth, and were never paid for it, and we will continue to beg for our share from a Country who dose not believe we deserve anything, but some crumbs, and continues to say to us every day, you can go to school, all you’ve got do is work hard and you can make it, just like any other American. All the while the real power, the controlling power elite, shares nothing, and the Government goes on year after year reinforcing, there hold on the poor, and the workers, plying some with dreams of becoming a mover and shaker.
Janice R, Brown knows staying in the middle and making decisions for the majority of power elite would put her in there favor, and having her radical ideas about social engineering, would be well received, by the those in power, but would offer "NO," real answers to those who suffer from that very control, she supports.
Janice R, Brown, like Justice Thomas has made very little decisions for the advancement of the minority, I' am talking about Blacks and Browns, Justice thomas has followed the Right Conservative Repulican thinkers, and he has been a waste for real change in this Country, and Janice would be, somewhat more of the same, she would not be and activist when and where it would count.
She would continue to tow the Rights Line, and carry there water, and instead of being bold, an living up to the Constitution, as it was written, she would be a failure.
America was set up with the right words, but America... it has not lived up to it words, what it did in the beging was and continues be a supporter of the wealthy, and have done this in words and deeds, but she has not nearly been as much of a supporter of the poor as the words in that Constitution says, and when you say one thing in your Constitution and support something entirely different for centuries, and only begrudgingly make minor changes, and mostly changes since the 60’s, and in the late 20th century, and then in the early 21st century, seek to erode those small advancements, and the power elite use a hard working black women who had to compromise her way to where she is today, and she stays just on both sides of the middle, so as to be acceptable to just enough, to appear to have a majority, it was and is a balancing act worthy of a prize, but not a prize that minorities will give her, she’ll receive no prize from Blacks and Browns.
The prize Black America seeks is a just, and fair playing field, and America has said, “It’s NOT GOING TO HAPPEN,” but we can sit down with you, and talk about a COMPROMISE.
Compromising your way to the top is not what America needs on the Appeals court bench, America needs the TRUTH of the WORDS in the CONSTITUTION, made real, not negotiated, America said one thing, and then supported another way of life for a select few Americans, and supported the exploitation of the enslaved uneducated poor for centuries, and the courts, and the government, was and is incapable of doing the right thing by those wronged for centuries, after being the over all enforcer of this travesty of Humanity.
Vote No to more of the same, VOTE no to Janice R, Brown
P.S. And you know many in America say "I never had any slaves, so I don’t feel I owe anything," and your right, but the Government you live under, and was born under and into, was wrong in the past and has not set it right to this day, but I won’t try to beat you with words into seeing my way about it, I’ll leave it to your heart, and your God, Please read Jeremiah Jer 22:13 "Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; [that] useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;"
A little commentary; and you could say slaves were not employed, but I say, that is a interpretation that fit mans convenient thinking, not God’s intent for ALL men.
Commentary: Jeremiah 22; Verse 13. Not only did Jehoiakim tax the people ( 2Ki 23:35 ) for Pharaoh's tribute, but also took their forced labor, without pay, for building a splendid palace; in violation of Lev 19:13 Deu 24:14, 15 . Compare Mic 3:10 Hab 2:9 Jam 5:4 . God will repay in justice those who will not in justice pay those whom they employ.
America is the most splendid palace, I know of that man has built on earth, but there is a palace of the heart, a palace of the heart, not made with mans hands.

Letter to Bush "Downing Street Memo"
Letter to Pres Bush Concerning "Downing Street Memo"
The Honorable George W. Bush
President of the United States of America
1600 Pennsylvania Ave, N.W.
Washington, D.C. 20005
Dear Mr. President:
We the undersigned write to you because of our concern regarding recent disclosures of a “Downing Street Memo” in the London Times, comprising the minutes of a meeting of Prime Minister Tony Blair and his top advisers. These minutes indicate that the United States and Great Britain agreed to by the summer of 2002 to attack Iraq, well before the invasion and before you even sought Congressional authority to engage in military action, and that U.S. officials were deliberately manipulating intelligence to justify the war.
Among other things, the British government document quotes a high-ranking British official as stating that by July 2002, “Bush had made up his mind to take military action.” Yet, a month later, you stated you were still willing to “look at all options” and that there was “no timetable” for war. Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, flatly stated, “[t] he president has made no such determination that we should go to war with Iraq.”
In addition, the origins of the false contention that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction remains a serious and lingering question about the lead up to the war. There is an ongoing debate about whether this was the result of a “massive intelligence failure,” in other words a mistake, or the result of intentional and deliberate manipulation of intelligence to justify the case for war. The memo appears to resolve that debate as well, quoting the head of British intelligence as indicating that in the United States “the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy.”
As a result of these concerns, we would ask that you respond to the following questions:
1) Do you or anyone in your administration dispute the accuracy of the leaked document?
2) Were arrangements being made, including the recruitment of allies, before you sought Congressional authorization to go to war? Did you or anyone in your Administration obtain Britain’’s commitment to invade prior to this time?
3) Was there an effort to create an ultimatum about weapons inspectors in order to help with the justification for the war as the minutes indicate?
4) At what point in time did you and Prime Minister Blair first agree it was necessary to invade Iraq?
5) Was there a coordinated effort with the U.S. intelligence community and/or British officials to “fix” the intelligence and facts around the policy as the leaked document states?
These are the same questions 89 Members of Congress, led by Rep. John Conyers, Jr., submitted to you on May 5, 2005. As citizens and taxpayers, we believe it is imperative that our people be able to trust our government and our commander in chief when you make representations and statements regarding our nation engaging in war. As a result, we would ask that you publicly respond to these questions as promptly as possible.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
The Honorable George W. Bush
President of the United States of America

Norm Your right you didn’t arrive at your decision easily, I believe you looked very hard at what you could investigate, that would put your committee, PSI on the map if you will, all to stake out your position, and round out, and show case, if you will, your Senatorial work, as an "Persecutor," and you thought your skills would shine, but so far you’ve shown only that you were not prepared to do battle, and your showing at your committee was abysmal at best.
You say, you requested Kofi Annan resign, for what! you’ve come up with nothing so far, as I can see, and America and the world see only trumped up, and possibly some forged papers, with the testimonies of some deposed heads of state. Not one SMOKING GUN did you produce, not one, you sat there and postured in front of the whole world as if you had some real evidence, but you showed and spoke of circumstantial evidence at best, and we waited for the shoe to drop, but none dropped, tell me you have more, please tell you’ve not fired your shotgun, both barrels.
In your opening you had the unmitigated gull, to pronounce the nobility, of the reasons for the UN OIL for FOOD program as a great reasoned idea for the Iraq people, when you knew you had to deal with the same man, who turned his back on deals with the US, and it’s businesses, long before the UN along with the USA came up with this great humanitarian ideal, and if your trying to sell to me, that your investigation is trying to get justice for the Iraq people, your lame… and it won’t fly with the American people, as well as the world.
I know for fact, that American money, tax payers monies, went to no-bid contracts, and to repatriated Iraqi’s, and the OIL, the US lead Coalition was suppose to protect went out of Iraq, for well over 14 months. During the time the OIL for FOOD program was up and running, both of these went hand in hand with the UN sanctions, and who got hurt the most, the Iraq children, your vaunted program to get food and medicine to Iraq’s children, don’t make me laugh, reporters told you the children weren’t getting the food, or the money, and the only ones who didn’t care were the US, and the UN members who were getting paid. No mystery here, millions of people were telling you this didn’t work from day one, but everyone involved, stayed the course, until Saddam made his move with the tacit approval of the US into Kuwait.
And even then the Coalition only went as far as the Mandate would allow, so the President says.
We sell Saddam gun, enriched uranium, strategic maps, and Satellite imagery. More weapons and the training to use them, we sell him the chemicals to create bio weapons, along with Germany, France, Russia, and several other countries, many members of the UN. And the US, and many others signed contract based on loop holes, that allowed them to write these contract on the future, when sanctions would be lifted, and Russia, and France who had a contract to develop the OIL fields, from 1927, got back doored, and back stabbed by the US and the Coalition, Russia lost billions, on future OIL contracts, Germany like the US lost Millions, on weapons delivered, and on enriched uranium, and France lost there long term contract to develope the OIL, and the money owed for nuclear tecnology.
And when you couldn't prove Kofi Annan was involved, but not involved in the OIL for Food scam, and you can’t just say he should of known, and you haven’t proved his son or Kofi knew about it. Kofi’s son may have had something to do with Oil for food, but that has not been proved either. His son's debacle is not the point, and you will not get him to step down until he’s ready.
Overwhelming evidence… don’t look now but half of America is laughing, along with the world, You embarrass a lot of people, and I pray you make a clear case in the near future. BAYOIL made close to or over 30 plus Billion dollars, over the years of the OIL for FOOD program, there is the real fraud, go after them an expose there complicity, and there profits, you can find the smoking gun, right here in America, and you can trace the money trail, all around the word. And Mr. Volcker, with no subpoena power will make you look bad, and partisan if you don’t go after BAYOIL.
I’ll be praying for you.

Norm Coleman proved nothing, today, and he made a fool of himself, and he made the Senate look bad, inquestioning George.
Money given to the mans charity, doesn’t prove the money came from Iraq OIL for Food program, by way of Soddam Hussein, and to imply because his name was on papers found in Iraq, is not creditable.
No one receiving a donation, unless it was from Al Capone would question the gift; most people don’t ask where did you make this money your giving me, or my charity. Mr. Coleman doesn’t ask Tom Delay, from which particular lobbyist, or which business did you get this money your giving me.
And if you, or I found the money trail, we would confront the person trying to give us tainted money. Donations come from Israel, and Jews hear in America, hundreds of thousands of dollars, and from individuals who made there money, or some of there money out side the main stream, and out side the tax code.
Buying influence is not new, but accusing someone just because you attached and captured the heads of the state, and they told you, or showed you some papers, that you as of yet, cannot prove, and you have found no paper trail, to confirm there participation, not a dollar, not a page. I’ll just smear his name based on captured prisoners testimonies, and some papers of people who happened to hate you, and your country.
You keep saying the documents Mr. Coleman, I have… did he sign his name, “NO,” is it his signature on them, “NO,” is his picture on it “NO,” is there any creditable shred of evidence to tie this man to what you’ve decided to accuse him of, are there any bank accounts with traceable OIL money in it, “NO,” is there any smoking gun “NO.”
And to say hearsay testimonies is as strong as first hand testimonies, is laughable, and I can hear law school professors, turning there heads, an saying you need an awful lot of hear say, to make a strong case, and if you have no hard evidence, at least a shred, hear says mountain wil be pretty tall.
I’ll say it again Senator Coleman, you were not creditable, and hears the big story hear in America, the complete involvement of American OIL companies, yes I said AMERICAN OIL COMPANIES, Mr. Coleman you glossed over this most important point, and you have not told, or investigated this connection, which is tied to many over sea’s. Here there is a story, a story of long time corruption, and theft on a large scale, but Coleman is not accusing the American Companies, who he has hard proof of their involvement, he wants to bloody all the others he believes are involved, an call for My Annan to step down, he’s doing a hatchet job on everyone he can before bringing out the American Companies involved, and there are more involved than others, in this scandal, but if he focused in the American companies, people should be telling him to deal with your yard, before trying to tell the world there grass is too long.
Creditable you say, I think your not very creditable My Coleman. For once in your prosecutor life, will you look around in your own neighborhoods? First make sure your yard is cleaned up, before accusing the world of being dirty, and you will get all the creditability you deserve. You have to be creditable to say some one else is not, and your not.

Mr. Colman, Your not telling the whole truth Mr. Coleman and you know the whole truth, and your covering up for BAYOIL, there's a big story out there, and the UN's Investigation is going to put mud in your eye. And you Mr. Coleman will be proven a lackey of this Administration long after they, and you have left office, having been voted out.
Stop sucking Bushes toes and do a creditable job, use these last years in office to do some real good, stop licking Bushes butt, and sliding around on your belly, for this corrupt Administration, and get a spine for ALL Minnesotans, yes I said ALL Minnesotans, wake up and hear the truth… Businesses in America have had more illegal dealings in the OIL-for-Food program than the total from England, and if you don't get off the dime and do some real investigating, you'll be the FOOL come ELECTION TIME, what with having done not very much for ALL Minnesotans, you'll only have this big record of being a RUBBER STAMP for the Bush Administration, a certified BOOT LICKER.
Here’s your chance, stand up and be counted among the Humans, and show Minnesota, and America, you’re your own man, and not the toddie of the Bush Administration. You’re a Senator for God’s sakes not your sakes.
The Media in America has given you a pass, and not done a creditable job either, and this is a pattern that has gone on since 911, sucked in and on the band wagon, afraid to speak the truth to power, well, I’ am and others like me, are not going to give you a pass, stand up for the whole truth, or we, as voters will sit you down from public office, at the ballet box.
This is the God’s honest truth.

Fixing Democrats
5/16/05
Washington Post

Richard Leiby
Norquist: "Any farmer will tell you that certain animals [Democrats] run around and are unpleasant, but when they've been fixed, then they are happy and sedate"
"They are contented and cheerful. They don't go around peeing on the furniture and such."
These are the words of a man who believes a large portion of Americans need to be fixed, like animals, and they then can be treated like slaves, and tolerated t be around them the power elite Conservative Republicans/Neo-Christian Right. He believes the left, and all Democrats are animals, and can be fixed, to be dossal, and none involved, offering only crippled words, that he and others who believe as he dose can just simply be ignored, they’ll be happy none, and only Americans in name from now on.
Well I believe in the Most high GOD Jehovah will not stand for Mr. Norquist to sweep away my rights, and treat me as a none citizen, a nurtured American.
The price the CCRP (Conservative Christian Republican Party, will pay is going to be high, and it will come at the ballot box, even with all the election fraud in use today, and it will come in Congress when they try to change the rules, and force the Judges on the American minority.
Wake Conservatives, wake up Republicans, wake up Christians, wake up Democrats, wake up. A theocracy tenants are being used to dumb down those who do not agree, to silence them and fix them so they will not be able to speak, and will be ignored. The day is coming when you will be called not Christian according to our party’ political correctness, as to what we, who are in charge believe is a Christian. Wake America, if your not A CCR your voice doesn’t count, we the CCRP have made it known, that only what the CCRP says is acceptable politically, and only the theology approved by the Christian Right Churches, you’ll be ask to leave your church if you don’t agree with the CCRP, and this has already started. If your with “US” your against “US,” who is “US,” the Conservative Christian Republican Party, and Neo-Right. America can’t believe what they’re seeing, and hearing.
If you say Civil marriage is ok, or Gays have the same rights you, or the Constitution says you shall not favor one religion over another, you’re told your against God, well we live in a Republic, that affords you the right to practice or not practice religion, but a certain political power today CCRP says out of the mouth of elected officials no less, "God must be in this public space," and any other view is not allowed. This view is, the Gay view, the Democrats view, the Minority view, these views and those who hold them are told, your Un-American, you hate God, your ungodly, and your not a Patriot, and you’re the reason OUR America is failing.
A lot of Americans see cause and effect, and stand up, just like they were taught to do in there churches, and in there homes, and in the schools they grew up in, here in America, they were taught to reason out the truth, see the truth, way the facts, and make a decision, now when some Americans do this and are intellectually honest, morally straight forward and they speak “Truth to Power,” they are told you hate America first, you keep pointing out a “few.” Mistakes.
Well The things some Americans want to toot, there horn about all the good they do, are not necessary, It's says in the Word of God, "you've got your reward," but when you do some wrong, and people get hurt, people lose there jobs, people lose the job Benefits, or the cost of Benifits go up 10% plus for 5 straight years, when people who are working have to choose between health Care or paying there everyday bills, or choose between Drugs for health or food, and when people have to choose between helping those who just lost there jobs (family Members,) and helping just their family, when Americans see illegal immigrants coming in at a rate, unprecedented, and the American Business community is hiring them and lowering wages, for Americans, and calling any American who speaks up a Racist, when The President of the United States of America says to the Americans who didn’t vote for him, you can not come to see me unless you sign an oath, a pledge of allegiance to me, Bush is saying I’ am not your President, I’ am only the President of those who voted for me, well now, this the country I live in today, I’ am so glad I serve a God for all those who want his love, whether I believe in him or not, whether I know his Gospel or not, His arms are open to me, because he looked beyond my “SIN.” And saw my needs, He love me when I didn’t know how to love myself, He was God, when I didn’t know He was God, He engaged me, He never turned away from me, and He told me “I am God, and there is none other.”
So Mr. George W, Bush, why can’t you say, I am your President, and there is no other, and act like it in words, and in deeds.

Can't have it both ways
The Truth in LOVE
Can’t have it both Ways

Responce to quest on Dobbs show:
I listened to your representative on Lou Dobbs show last night and I was concerned, because you see Lou as promoting xenophobes, and you even accused Lou of being a race hater, particularly Mexicans, Latinos, and Spanish speaking people. Your representative says he doesn’t support opened or closed borders; he supports a legal system of immigration, well if you have problem of flooding over your borders, you must stop the flooding first, not wait while the flood is taking place to make a system that is legal for the water, and for the people who are being flooded. Your asking the people being flooded to just shore up your home, and learn to navigate the waters outside of your home, that’s find for some, but not for all.
Now I just made a simplification of the problem, but it's still very accurate depiction of what is happening, and with America at war, in two fronts Drugs, and Terrorism, and with the two using each other for cover, now you add those who choose to come over this same border illegally, and you have a compounded problem for America, and it is unfortunate, that those who want to come legally are caught up in this situation, but such are the circumstance we have “in” America, and we have to deal with this.
When America has is a such a sever problem, and your representative says that Lou and others who believe as he dose, and speak there beliefs, you say were lumping racially, Latinos, etc; in the same conversation and your just being a raciest towards those who want to come here legally, but that’s not what’s happening. And I won’t support your belief, because that’s not what he’s saying and when you say, any talk of terrorist coming with these legal, and illegal, aliens, is the as same xenophobes talk. We know that they have, and are mixed in with those who came legally, and your organization advocates for them, to not be stopped, you lose me.
We in America want all illegal aliens to stop coming illegally, for the purposes of terrorism, Drug, dealing, and for legal jobs, buy the way of illegal immigration, this has to all stop. And if you came into America and planned to mix in, or if you came in undercover, you must go back out, and come in legally. I was taught that, anyone who climes over the fence, is a thief, and a robber, this precept, and principle was taught me in the Bible.
So I’ am not against legal immigration to America, but all but legal immigration has to stop.
Now American National Security is at stake, and your advocacy group is not against American National Security, is it.
You can’t have it both ways at once. You cannot let the illegal in with the legal, America cannot let the illegal in and then say well there here now, let them stay, That won’t work because America doesn’t know who came legally, and who came illegally, and think about this for a rational moment, what’s the difference. If you get a bad reaction from a batch of medicine, and you got 1 million doses, you either have to test all 1 million doses, or get rid of the batch, and start over again, (and I don’t mean kill them) what I do means is that if you can prove you came legally, OK but if you can’t you must go out, and come in legally.
I also want Port security, but don't gey me wrong, I am against racisms in any form, whether it is institutional, or personal. Now don’t get me wrong I am for what is fair, and if you’ve been wronged, you deserve to be set right, and if the government did you wrong than the government has to set it right, and if businesses are hiring illegal aliens for work they are breaking the law, and should be adjudicated accordingly, this is one of the areas where America should start.
Last: why do you have a door on your home, why do you want just your family to get into your car, you say to me it’s OK, let them come in, let them ride, I say no, not because I don’t like them, I don’t know them well enough to like or dislike them, but I know that they cannot come into my home with out permission, they cannot get in my car either, whether I like them or not, all must ask and receive PERMISSION to come. And if you clime over the fence, and set up living in the corner of my yard, cooking cleaning raising your children, then stand there staring at me, in the corner of MY property, looking me in my face, as if to say what are you looking at me for.
I say your arrogant, and NO I don’t want you in my yard, you didn’t ask for my permission to be there, and I want you to leave.

UP or DOWN Vote
The Truth in LOVE
Up or Down Vote: by Bruce H, Scroggins
5/9/05
I see Republicans are up to there same old mess, this incessant statement, “they deserve an Up or Down Vote,” is getting tired. Over the years when it came to nominations, for heads of departments, and judges, and the like, there have been several things that happened, lets look at this step, by step. The President makes a nomination, and sends it up to the Hill for Advise, and Consent. The elected Representatives on the Hill take it up in committee, and the nomination either is voted out with confidence, or without confidence, or it can die in committee for several reasons, and if this happens, there is no vote on the floor of the Congress.
Lets say it passes committee and is voted out, with confidence, it arrives on the floor, and is set up for a vote, after further discussion, and filibustering, or no discussion, and no filibustering they can vote for or against this nomination, and if it passes, the Congress confirms the nomination with enough votes to pass, and if not it dies right there, and at the committee level, or on it’s way, or on the floor, either the President or the nominee can withdraw, and if neither of these events happens, then the President gets to appoint this person to the post he nominated him for if he passes.
This process is called Advise, and Consent.
History shows that many of the past Presidents nominations have not made it out, of committee, bottled up by either party, for all kinds of reasons, and never came close the floor of Congress. In the 214 year History this has happened many, many times, and several times, nominations have made it out of committee, with no confidence to the floor, and some have passed, and been appointed, and several have made it to the floor, with no confidence, and die on the floor of Congress. Now several nominations have made it with confidence out of committee, and dies on the floor of Congress, and many have made it through, and have been appointed by past Presidents.
This is just some of the history; it’s not a complete history, but closes enough for my point. When I hear Republicans say he deserves a up or down vote, I cringe, yes they can vote on the floor, but not everyone nominated gets a vote, and the Republicans continuing to say that they all deserve to get this vote, is not true, nor is it historically true that all get this vote.
Many times in committee, they vote, and many times they did not vote, and this has been true for the floor of Congress as well, and then the Republicans say, only these Appellate Court Judges are being held up, yes that’s true, and that is the preview of those who get to Vote, or "choose" not to Vote, of those who can advise, or not advise, to discuss, or not discuss, to filibuster, or not to filibuster.
The Democrats have the view and points, and reasons for doing what they are doing, and the Republicans have their reasons for saying what they say about, what the Democrats are saying, and doing.
The Dems see court packing, and the Supreme Court as the next step. The Republicans refuse to see this, and just continue to demand the vote, even though they need 60 votes to pass, that fine for the Republicans.
So were dead locked, no the Republicans say we will change the filibuster rule so we can use our majority in Congress to pass the opposition by, they also changed the rules of ethics for Congress.
The opposition, and America saw this as down right wrong, and the polls show this to be true. Now this Administration did get 215 judges passed, so 10 particular judges not getting through to me, is not enough reason to gut the filibuster, and it would take some thing a lot more for either party to get me to agree.
Please will somebody start telling, the people who keep saying, “They deserve a up or down vote,” to stop whining.

Slick Tactics
The Truth in LOVE
Slick Tactic: by Bruce H, Scroggins
5/9/05
I was greatly interested in and article by Tom Ball called "Bush tactic" It showed how the Bush Admibastration, and the Conservative Republican Party, Shifts the burden of proof to their opponents.
Here’s how it works, in my words: Bush and his cronies (CCR, and NCR, CR, present Administration) Conservative Christian Republicans, Neo-Conservative Republicans, and the Christian Right, all use this tactic in bullying the opposition.
They will Assert, or make and assertion, (I call it, making an accusation, to try to set the agenda.) They then promote that opinion (this is where the smooth taking, and filibustering comes in,) they try to interpret for you what they are asserting (they try to tell you what to think, and what conclusions you should have.) And they do not stop. News Personalities/supposed Journalist, and paid operatives, and party spinners, as well as those who can smell power, and I’ am talking about the Christian power elite’s included.
Now here’s the hook, before your opponent can question your motive, the strength of argument, or you basis (proof) for your ASSERTION, ACCUSATION, your OPINION, these truth twisters, these liars in the first order, they place on you the one who is questioning this “load of BULLS__T.” They call on you to prove them wrong, and this is another slick tactic, they keep asserting, keep accusing and saying your trying to obstruct the truth, and have no ideas of your own, they talk ad-infiniteum, always ending the mini filibuster talking with, prove me wrong.
And it's here where many fall for this slick bit of agenda setting crap, Instead of making them prove there assertion is true, and most fall for this tactic, they then try to prove there accusers assertion, but here's the trick, the assersation is wrong, and accusation is wrong, instead of making them prove that what there saying is not true, they then, after getting you to play the game they set, they proclaim victory, and ignore you from that point on saying you lost, and you need to get over it. Never do the work for those asserting, and accusing, they’ve made up this assertion, and want you to give it legitimacy by engaging in this falsehood, and mostly half truth, and they set the agenda, because they have got you arguing about there made up agenda.
65 to 80% of those in the know, know that Social Security is not a CRISIS, never was, it is serious Problem, but it not a crisis, and these same people, Republican and Democrat alike, knows Medicare, and Medicaid, are in and have been in CRISIS, along with the Deficit, these are the real issues, but this Bush led Administration, has engaged in miss directions, down right lying to get there top down control of the American people, and have won almost every engagement to date.
And the proof is the Economy, Jobs, Education, Taxes, Inflation, Wages, the Cost of Living, these most important foundational underpinning have all been eroded, ignored, and flat out refused to address them, and if addressed, the time is set for talk, to such a short time as to make most who are concerned, angry. Unions are under attack; All American can’t even go to appearance by the American President, not without first pledging and oath of allegiance to his name and pre-set agenda.
The Energy Bill, was set in private, and the Administration has refused to let the public, and there elected representative end on who, what, where and why? It is what it is.
Stop letting these pack of Control freaks set the agenda, make them prove their accusation, and assertions, and opinions, and do not let them set the agenda.

Immagration

Look at the definition of Immigration;
im·mi·gra·tion (plural imm·i·gra·tions)
noun
1. arrival of settlers in a new country
2. passport control
Immigration, the movement of people into another nation with the intention of residing there permanently. The contrasting term emigration refers to
When you add the words illegal this changes immigration.
Now America is at WAR, and the borders, or these borders have a serious and on going WAR on DRUGS PROBLEM as well. Mr. Gutierrez you can’t say there just janitors, and there only coming over, and through the same borders that TERRORIST, and DRUGS are coming over, "there only", I say, and then they mixed in with those coming to America legally, ILLEGAL immigrants, Illegal Drugs, is what America cannot afford to let this continue, I’ am sorry for the immigrant, who is looking for honest work, but he must come in HONESTLY, so Americans can be secure in there BORDERS.
And those who lobby for they native people have to stop saying Americans don’t want the low paying jobs, if that’s so, than its Americans problem, and American businesses will have to make adjustment to get workers to do the work, and they should not be allowed to continue on, or employ illegal workers, who have come to America illegally, I hear supporters of this illegal activity, making these arguments, I say American businesses are jeopardizing my security for there profits.
I hear Rep Luis Gutierrez, frame the issues by saying these Illegal immigrants pay taxes, (if you came illegally, the taxes are paid illegally)he says this as though, to say, yah there illegal, but that’s Ok, and he says your being against these illegals, is wrong and they are good tax paying illegals who just, want to work jobs you/us Americans don’t want. I understand he wants his people from his ancestors country to come and enjoy the American dream, and coming illegally is OK with him, well if he wants to play fast and loose with my security, that’s not OK with the majority of Americans, and he's sworn to protect this country, so give me a break.
A guess worker program is just what it says, “GUESS” meaning you’re here, temporarily and “Worker,” means working temporarily, when used with "Guess.". Now some want to say OH that’s terrible to have them come just for a season, this statement is fine, but you cannot add this feeling into GUESS WORKER, and when you do, they’re not, a “GUESS WORKER.” If you want them to apply for citizenship, you can help them do that LEGALLY, before entering illegally.
And blaming the Business’s is a big issue, these businesses are already in America, and if we enforce our borders, businesses can like, or want GUESS WORKERS, but they can’t have them unless they’re here legally, and there violating my security for profits.
Those here already, those who came in illegally, and they must leave and apply to come in legally, and stop trying to make it sound like because there here and they mop, and clean, and pick grapes, and pay taxes that it’s a low life job, and you say why? Are you bothering them you say?
The benefits for coming here legally are greater than, what they get for coming illegally. There are 11 million peoples or more, and all of these people are here under law illegally. You can not take over living in a country, and you say, well I’ve not broken the law, because, I pay taxes, you say your going to push them further underground, if make account for there status. No Rep, Gutierrez, you got it backwards, you can’t break the law, and say to those who want them to follow the law, that if you make them accountable to the law, that's unfair, I say because they chose to break the law, and they involved there families with them, you don not have to let them stay, based just on there breaking of the law alone, your trying to make those Americans out to be bad people, or racist, I just want them to follow the law… from the start. Bad Americans, why? Because, Americans want to follow the law, you say, they will have to separate there families, well if I rob a Bank, and get caught, I can’t say well I know I got caught, but you can’t ask me, and force me to separate from my family just because I broke the law. No you should not punish me, you should let me stay together with my family because, you should want my family to stay together, just forget I broke the law, that won’t work in your country, and it won’t work here.

I was watching the program on CNN, about America’s Education system, and this program took into account the Presidents new “NO Child Left Behind Program,” I saw wide spread cheating, holding students back, forcing student to drop out, skipping grades after holding them back, students passing courses, and then the next year holding them back, and then the next, they are given the same courses again. In one instance in Texas, of 1100 students in 8th grade, only 257 made it into the 9th grade, and the drop out rate, for that year was 0.
This man Rod Page, who the President employed in Texas, this is the same man Bush put in charge of education on the Federal level, and implemented the “NO Child Left Behind Program” for America. This testing is tied to supposed "teaching to test," or "teaching the test" to raise scores. Rod Page thinks he doing great work for American school children.
America is producing master test takers, but the American education systems is not producing high achieving student… that can compete on the international stage.
The formulas that states are forced to use, make it appear that the students are improving, and by 2014 every school in the nation will be force to use this terrible system that sounds good, but in practice is terribly flawed, and is based on cheating.
And the growing rebellion against NCLBP, will only give more impudence to cut the money given to Education, and when less is needed in the budget, and the advocates of taking the money and giving it to the states for education, in private schools, because the states are starting to refuse the funds, and some are even suing the Federal Education Department, this is a for runner for desaster
As has been Bush’s practice, he tries to set the agenda, that is not the "issue" that needs his attention for those in America who need him to do the right thing for them and the poor, and those who use the public school systems in America, Bush spent 60 plus days trying to drum up support for his SS crisis, when it was a problem and never a crisis, and for years under the "guise" he did some thing great for education, and he’s gave education more money than his predecessors, yes he give more money but not enough to fully fund his great NCLBP, and in the out years he starts cutting education, just look closely at the budget.
The things that need America’s attention the most, Bush has played and ideological game, of “I’ve got the answer, and look what I’ve already done,” when we’ve had for five years a whole sale "drop rate" that has approached and passed be a crisis.
Along with this Administration all out assault on the working family, and their first line protection, the Unions. Bush has made it easier for Insurance companies to raise rates 10% plus for the last 5 year, while wages have stagnated, prescription drugs are at a all time high, for all Americans, energy is through the roof, jobs are leaving America at an accelerated rate, and a record number of jobs, that are not ever coming back to America, we have had since 911, a national emergency with or ports, and are borders, and immigration. Trade is a fast track for death for small businesses, and the Deficit is virtually ignored.
While America’s rich get richer, and the poor get poorer, and jobs get cheaper in pay, the American worker is less, and less able to support a family, when inflation and low and nonexistent raise’s for the cost of living, come nigh to those who have been most effected by this slow moving economy, it will be a revolution, and it won't be pretty.
But Americas got a God believing President, who can not see the suffering in America for the Ideology he pushes, he won’t support a raise in wages, he says he wishes he could lower the price of gasoline, well the price is ah, going down, since the voices of Americans, and business have showed displeasure in the polls, (his approval ratings are headed down as well.)

Election: from The Truth in LOVE
The Truth in LOVE
By: Bruce Scroggins
My fellow Americans this year 2004, this election is the most important event in the entire world, we as Americans cannot get this wrong again. There is at risk, the future of America, as all Americans know it, we as a free people, must return to the position of being the leader of the free world, and not an arrogant big brother, with a badge to police the world and make enemies of our allies, the present Administration has instead made allies of the power elite of American Business, and then together, they back them in there power plays, and all for the sake of a well healed few of the world, ignoring the vast majority of the underserved, and underclass of poor, and disenfranchised.
In America we have a new powered elite, in Energy, Insurance, Communications, Health Care, and huge Corporate Farms, and Multinational Corporations, all bolstered by favorable tax laws, and deregulation, and greed like the world has seen in the past, but not like in this new 21st Century.
America’s traditional allies of old, forged out of like trails, and a past filled with death and blood, have been fractured today, and divided, why? Because the moneyed elite of the world has changed, and in there 21st Century, these Partners in Oil, and Finance wanted to turn America in a new direction, in part to head off a change in monetary position fast approaching on the world stage. Now lets talk about OPEC, and China, you say why? OPEC an China quite simply, they hold far too much Americas debt, and America knows that is it’s a precarious position, Americas an China are packed with problems, now and in future for America, and China has a will today to continue to use larger, and larger amount of oil, and these events, and more will dictate all free trade agreements. And OPEC has and was leaning towards taking only euro dollars for a oil, this would effectively push America to what I call a “first world third world country” (by hastening the most sever shrinking of the middle class) and in this time, it would raised Europe, China, and India to the top of monetary power overnight, and Saddam, in the early “90’s” was actively, instigating not taking US dollars for oil to OPEC and, OPEC was listening, at lease a large number of OPEC was listening.
China’s economy is also tied to oil, how and why? Because they are using oil, at and ever increasing rate… listen China’s economy is growing at leaps and bounds in the manufacturing sector, armed with free trade, and the new power that WTO trade agreements has brought, and more importantly the US led entrance into the WTO (World Trade Organization) together with, have started a economy like the world has never seen, and there thirst for consumer products is just getting started, and there is no sign, or signs of a decrease, now together with, and with China holding huge amounts of American debt, and having one of the largest workforces in the emerging world economies, and along with India, and the European Union’s burgeoning juggernaut of a economy, America and the world is in for a race for the use of resources like no other in world history, and all this is goings on, right out in the open, on the world stage, and all this is not with out a dire plan, from America’s big businesses interest.
The present administration, is packed with Idea logs, called neo-cons, and the plan is one, that more than one American President has heard, and seen before, and this plan was floated to President Clinton back in the early to mid “90’s.” It’s name, Project for the New American Century, PNAC it’s a template, and upon a closer look at the present administration, you’ll see some familiar names and faces, and upon a clear look at what’s happening around the world, and in this administration. You see a conspiracy? No… fact is what you’ll see… just takes your party blinders off and look.
1 There is $7.34 trillion worth of petroleum and another $3 trillion of natural gas in the Caspian Basin. A pipeline across Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India could bring it to market. (Included in this market are a number of gas-fired power plants in Pakistan, owned by US corporations, and, at the time, an Enron project in Dabhol, India.)
In 1995 the Bridas Corporation was negotiating with the Taliban in Afghanistan to build the pipeline. The U.S. Government and the Unocal Corporation were pressing the Taliban fiercely to decline. In January of 1996, however, Bridas signed the contract to proceed: it now controlled the flow of Caspian riches.
Fast forward to 1998. The Project for a New American Century is staffed by a group of “meoconservatives,” starkly rightwing political thinkers and activists. It is committed to maintaining the military and economic supremacy in the world accorded the United States by the collapse of the Soviet Union. On January 26, 1998, PNAC sent a letter to President Clinton urging the removal of Saddam Hussein by military means, if necessary. Should he remain in power, much would be put at hazard, including “a significant portion of the world’s supply of oil.” Signing the letter were Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, James Woolsey, Zalmay Khalilzad, John Bolton, Richard Armitage, and Elliot Abrams.
Fast forward now to 2000, an election year. Eleven members of the PNAC would assume prominent roles in the upcoming administration of George W, Bush the signers of the 1998 letter to Clinton, plus Richard Cheney, Douglas Feith, and Lewis Libby. In September the PNAC made public another document, a 90-page report entitled, “Rebuilding America’s Defenses.” The new document advocates pre-emptive war—something never done in the history of the nation—but it realized how sharp a departure this would be. The “transformation” would be long and difficult, in the absence of “some catastrophic and catalyzing event, like a new Peal harbor.” President Bush, early in his Adminastration, formally adopted the concept when he signed and issued the National Strategy document.
One more fast-forward: to January of 2000. The Bush Administration has taken office, and the linkages with the oil industry are intimate, historic, and huge. The President and the Vice President are just the openers: eight cabinet members and the National Security Advisor were drafted directly from the oil industry, and so were 32 other officials, in the Departments of Defense, State, Energy, Agriculture, Interior, and the Office of Management and Budget.
Vice President Dick Cheney convenes his supersecret “Energy Task Force.” Its membership and deliberations remain deliberately obscured, but Mr. Karl Schwarz is certain the forced removal of the Taliban and the Bridas Corporation was discussed. The citizen group Judicial Watch did force the release of a few documents, however with a lawsuit. Prominent among them is a map of the Iraqi oilfields, pipelines, tanker terminals, and oil exploration blocks: the Cheney Task Force had more than a passing interest in Iraqi oil, as well.
The war was a set up for several reasons. Yes Bush wanted to whack the man who tried to kill his father, but Bush knew getting Saddam was a given, what with the assurances of the strength of US Military by the General Military staff, but getting in office… now that was a trick of a different sort, getting in office was the first step in executing the plan, execution of an all out efforts by operatives needed to get to Florida, and handle the voting from start to finish, and what a vote it was, poor Floridians got antiquated vote machines, mostly in the central parts of Florida, and the more affluent in the pan handle, and the south where most of Bushes supporters live, in these counties America now knows the most up to date vote machines were secured, and with the help of the Secretary of State (Katherine Harris Head of the GOP re-election committee in Florida) together with Jeb Bush on board, the Bush machine was ready to go, and when more troops were needed, the Republicans, simply imported Republican stalwarts from out state re-election committees, and Bush did know he could count on the Supremes, but I don’t think he thought it would come down to them, and when they stomped in with their decision , it was done deal, it was over for all intents a purposes, Bush then ran with the victory, all the way to Iraq, even though at least half of America thinks the attach by Osama was were we were going to get America some pay back, for the Pearl harbor of New York, but all it turned out to be, was a catalyst PNAC needed to push forward their plan.
Osama was never the focus, but he was just what Bush and Cheney, and Pearl, and Wolfowizt, and Rumsfeld needed, and what had been there plan all along, even before entering the White House, now on this statement history and the records will prove this to be the facts, O’Neil, and Conndi Rice, both testified to the Bush administrations immediate obsession with getting to Iraq, the Bush administration was tied up with PNAC’s agenda, before entering the White house.
The war was also, the way to repay big business big time, all those who backed Bush to the tune of a 200 hundred million dollar war chest to get Bush in office. Going to Iraq was the plan, and paying back big business, was set up in part after entering the white house by Vice President Cheney, in his now widely known private meetings with big energy, and others, but not the only reasons… America had been losing their allied bases, and their ability to control, and protect the oil, that’s part of the reason the troops stayed in Saudi Arabia, and they stayed on two state of the art Military bases, 25,000 thousand US troops, but to the middle east extremist Muslims an affront to their faith, and defiling of their wholly land by infidels, it was more than the muslin world as a whole could take. America spent big time to build these base starting back before the 91 gulf war in Saudi Arabia, and one of these bases was designed to be the command and control center for all middle east military activities for the future, but with increasing Intel of hostilities, America knew their position was becoming untenable, but America still needed bases in there plan for middle east, US Hegemony.
Now the G-8 Countries including America made deals with Iraq, while the UN sanctions where in place, and France, Germany, and Russia, and American businesses made deal after deal, and if you just look a little closer at the just released UN, and CIA reports prove this out, you see all the deals made under oil for food, and Halliburton’s part, in their deals were central in selling the necessary parts to keep Iraq oil flowing during this oil for food program, and other American companies profited as well, in the oil for food program, and Halliburton’s involvement and others were left off the reports leaked the news, which certain news network wants the American people, as well as the world to believe is all the Europeans fault, as well as the UN’s alone.
America had been controlling 2/3 of Iraq, with “NO FLY ZONES,” and sanctions, up to the war, and America hasn’t controlled that much of Iraq since the war began, why? Because of extremely arrogant, bad planning, from Rumsfeld, and Bush and Cheney who all thought, it would be a cakewalk, they were led to believe they’d be welcomed as liberators, and the paid operatives, like Ahmad Chalabi, led them on, down the road Bush wanted to go any way Ahmed wanted hid country back any way he could get it and for their own selfish reasons, and Ahmed knew Iraqi, being and old batthist himself, he knew full well Iraqis would not go for democracy like we have here in America.
Bad planning yes the worst by an invader, since Napoleon. Just to let you know, that there was an agenda other than just deposing Saddam… think back upon entering Iraq and taking the southern most parts of Iraq, where some oil was the first concern of the troops, and the military commanders was to guard the oil, and not the cashes of weapons, or the chemical plants, or WMD’s, or the nuclear plants, and the Museums… all were left unguarded from the start, for WEEKS.
OH’ by the way, America are signatories of a document called “The Geneva convention,” and it say you are not to bomb, water treatment plants, or hospitals, or anything needed by the civilian population, for their pursuit of life, in war (not sure of the wording, or of why you can not bomb these facilities), but it has to do with placing the population, and non combatants in a position, of extreme hard ship, but the coalition of American led military bombed 28 Hospitals, and if you look, and listen, ask the news media you’ve heard, nor been informed that this took place, and they reported nothing about re-building the hospitals, but you have heard only about Power Plants, and schools, and electricity, and getting the oil, and pipe lines up and running, now the Iraqis, didn’t blow up there own hospitals, or there water treatment plants, and these are reasons they were not at all in a hurry to have the UN go in with them, and didn’t protect the UN when they came in after pressure from the US populist and others in the world, and now today, there is big money to be made in Iraq, by privateers, and profiteers, but in the eyes of the Iraqi people, they look like foreign carpet baggers, backed by invaders.
Now does Iraq want freedom? Yes from Saddam? Yes from any oppressor? Yes but does Iraq want American style democracy? No… Iraq will take some of the freedoms, but not the trappings of our style of democracy, what with, alcohol, outright prostitution, liberal TV, and equal rights for women, yes some of these are good for a Democracy, but some and others are not freedoms Iraqis want at all, and some, are not even wanted in our country.
America is my country, but we have a administration that has a plan for continual war, and not for peace, and we as a country have to stop backing dictators, and despots, around the world, and stop backing big business who get us into wars, for greedy, selfish reason. And do you think the Iraqi people want there country to be the center of terrorism, stop and think what the Iraqi people must be thinking about America, every night the president keeps saying “I’d rather fight them over there than here in America,” America has for are intent and purpose turned Iraq into a terrorist heaven, and they are killing Iraqis at a terrible rate, as well as men, women, and children, and all combatants on both sides are suffering, theirs kidnapping, ransoming, and rape is underreported, if at all, ericaceous family killings, and outright murders.
America has enough oil undeveloped, to maintain our country for hundreds of years, but has refused to develop it, why? Because, they simply want to use up middle east oil first, and America, and France, and Germany, and Italy, and Russia put in the infrastructure, to get the middle east oil out of the ground, a long time ago, so every time there’s a price increase per barrel of crude, they all get paid from royalty’s, and in some cases, these royalties have been paid for decades, that’s why? You never hear the oil companies complain, when the cost of home heating, or gasoline goes up, and it’s at a record high today, this winter Americans will pay on average 28% more to heat there homes, why? Has America protested this?
Oil in America and energy power plants: Lets take oil first, the big oil companies, bought oil exploration leases, years ago from the government, for leases off shore California, and in the Gulf, and in other places, but these major oil & energy companies refuse to develop them, complaining about the cost to explore and develop new fossil fuels, and as it stands, if they started today, it would take 20 years to bring any appreciable amount of oil on line to help, and it would still be not enough, WHY? Because it would take another 20 years after that, to make a real dent in Americas needs.
Energy: In the past when energy and power plants were built, America, and the states learned years later that the past practice of letting these energy companies build, unregulated, was a bad idea, and the big energy companies took advantage, and the states let the big energy companies build a power plants, unabated by environmental rules, and regulation, to protect the environments, and as we all know the taxpayers and the states paid the cost for clean up, big time. Well the tax payers, and the states learned, from this and regulated for there clean-up, the next time around with new rules, and regulations set-up to cover all environmental damage and clean up, and set it at the feet of big energy, and big energy in turn refuse to build plants, and this was an underlying fact in the California energy crisis, so this crisis in California played out, with big businesses still making obscene profits, and they still to this day have not built ONE NEW POWER PLANT in CALIFORNIA.
Big energy also let the power grid get into disastrous conditions, and hasn’t started to fix the problems yet, but legislation is in the works in congress to address this problem. But it’s a dirty game that big energy is playing with America, and America has to hold big energy to account.
How does America change the course we’re on, four ways, change administration, and change administrative procedures, and that will change the direction, and with the change of leadership, America has to stop allowing any administration to put in charge of the Environmental Protection Agency EPA, some one who was oppose to the environment, do not allow any administration to put in charge, any one who was in bed with the energy companies, this will be a start… and we as a people will have to hold the new administrations feet to the fire as well, why? Because big business, is backing both parties as Nader has said, and big business has some powers, as you’ve seen with not building, and developing energy, we as a Country have to push alternative sources for energy, big time and never let up, never ever let up.
America has to demand of our leaders fair free trade with the developing economies, stop paying for business to out source jobs, fully fund No Child Left Behind, and roll back the tax cuts on every one making over $200,000 and fix the tax code, and put back as much money into the social security truth, opps’ (trust) fund, lower taxes on capital gains, and small business’s, and hold Insurance companies accountable, for accelerating the cost of insurance. The insurance companies have unilaterally raised premiums 10% plus for three straight years, is unacceptable, and with a big investigation on all Insurance, it will be a very good start.
Now helping Iraq, and helping is all we can do, Iraq has to fix it self, as the rightful leader of the free world, we have to start acting like the free world leader, we have to sit down with our traditional allies and the Muslim countries in the region to secure the cities and bring them all into the cost, and profits of rebuilding the country of Iraq, first to secure the borders, and then help in building some freedoms for the peoples, and these Muslim countries will then have a first hand experience in working to free some one from oppression, a way of life of freedom, this will be demanded by their own countries as they get more involved.
Is there more we all can do yes, we have to hold our media accountable for abdicating there responsibility to ferret out, lies, and prevaricators of miss-direction, and smear, and start being the 4th estate, and not partisan hacks, with a agenda other than the news, and the facts, news papers do a better job of calling a liar a liar. Congress has to look deeply into the FCC, and the SEC, and get them onboard for all America, and not just for big business, and partisan agendas. Now we have to stop gutting the environment, and make big energy pay for refusing to build power plants, and not searching for oil, they have brought America no good for years, and the pharmaceutical companies are in co-hoots with the insurance companies, and in an investigation, of the Insurance companies, it will be revealed their duplicity, then Americans can bring down the cost, and it will have a ripple effect through out the world, we can bring down the cost of medicine as well, and the cost of health insurance. Frivolous law suits, or tort reform is needed, but not the way republican want, America should never stand for, no patience rights, or no consumers right to sue, for what ever amount is fair, and if you cap awards across the board, Americans will find one size only fits all, does not work as a deterrence for those who have to pay for their transgressions, and out right frauds, and malpractices, a reasonable amount of settlements, can be worked out by both sides.
I love my country, and my people, the native people, white and Black, and Irish, and Jewish people, all have given, and gone through a lot to get where we are today, we’ve fought wars for independence, a civil war, and I want to say to the world and my country that “righteousness exalts a nation: but sin a reproach to any people,” and it says in my Bible that “if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from there wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive there sins, and will heal their land,” All of America… Democratic, Republican, Conservative, Independent, we all needs to pull together and stop with the divisive and derisive, talk, by all the actions of our leaders, and stop with the working to make half of Americans, the half who do not agree with a policies… stop forcing the other half to live the way your narrow ideological administration and congress, who are in power, has legislated… and when the powers change hands, and there will be a change… at this time, we all have to sit down, and come together, and work together, and not work for retribution, especially against those who did not vote for you, for the leadership of the USA, this time, no more wedge issues, no more saying one thing, and doing another, America will have a true statesman, able to work out the complex positions of true leadership of the free world, and will work towards energy independence, and alternative fuels, and not go about with more nation building, in places other than, Afghanistan , and Iraq, where the commitment is set for years to come, we as the leader of the free world will make it, as right as humanly possible, with the help of all our friends.
